Julia leads EuroGO-SHIP work package on “Communication, Exploitation and Dissemination” (WP6). She works as Lead Business Manager & Senior Expert at Seascape Belgium. Julia has over 20 years of experience working in the environmental sector, having held management and DIRCOM positions in public environmental institutions and worked as an international consultant at Travelecoology, KPMG and Spain’s Business Council for Sustainable Development. She has extensive experience in environmental policy, with a focus on coastal & marine frameworks. She has a successful track record in facilitating stakeholder consultation processes and delivering strategic foresight analyses in the context of open science and Ocean sustainability.

Julia was born in Madrid (Spain) and her name is pronounced “Hoo lee uh”.
