Siv K. Lauvset leads task 2.3 in EuroGO-SHIP. She holds a PhD in Chemical Oceanography from the University of Bergen and is an expert on ocean biogeochemistry, focusing on recent changes driven by increasing CO₂ uptake. She works on both regional and global questions and has extensive experience using a combination of observational data and Earth system models. Siv has a lot of experience with data quality control, and currently chairs the GLODAP effort. She also served as the coordinator for ocean data synthesis products on the IOCCP from 2016-2022.
