Stefano participates to EuroGO-SHIP to the analysis of available oceanographic facilities, to the implementation of pilot activities addressed to the definition of the best experimental practices, as well as to the consultation of hydrographic communities on the services that will be provided by the EuroGO-SHIP RI. Stefano is a chemical oceanographer working at CNR ISMAR since 1997. He participated to several national and international research projects in the Mediterranean Sea and in the coastal polar regions. He has carried out studies on the biogeochemical cycles of major elements, on the evolution of water mass properties at basin scales and on the effects of climatic and anthropogenic impacts in the coastal marine ecosystems.
