Anton is working in EuroGO-SHIP as CSIC PI, mainly in enforcing the primary quality assurance of carbon and ancillary parameters from hydrography. He is a marine scientist with a MSc on the study and evaluation of the carbon system and anthropogenic signal in seawater at global and regional scales through numerical processing algorithms. He is currently PI of BOCATS2 project, focused on the study of carbon and heat transport along the GO-SHIP A-25/OVIDE section, and REDEIRA project, focused on the study of coastal processes and ecosystems through coupling regional modelling and machine learning with a novel observational network.
