Richard Sanders of NORCE gave a presentation outlining the aims of the EuroGO-SHIP project and its objective of building a new research infrastructure in support of European hydrography and discussed that while ship-based hydrography is one of the oldest ways to observe the ocean, it is still one of the most reliable.
